Studies show that children who regularly spend time and are comfortable around water are healthier and have increased self-confidence. In advance of National Waterpark Day on July 28, Kalahari Resorts and Sparks donated to the USA Swimming Foundation's "Make A Splash" program, which funds swimming lessons for children.
"We are obviously passionate about waterparks and have seen first-hand how they provide the perfect atmosphere to spend quality time having fun with your family and making lasting memories," said Travis Nelson, spokesperson, Kalahari Resorts and Conventions. "We founded National Waterpark Day as the perfect occasion to create those moments."
